EVOCellic

EVOCellic is an allogeneic, keratinocyte-based, freeze-dried, cell therapy to promote wound regeneration. The product releases a defined set of growth factors that activate keratinocyte and fibroblast proliferation and migration, accelerating re-epithelialization and tissue repair.

It targets deep dermal burns and chronic wounds, including those in pediatric, diabetic, and elderly patients, reducing inpatient stay while improving wound healing outcome. Cells in its formulation are specially activated, using an IP protected process, that increase its growth factor expression. Our proprietary freeze-drying process preserves biological activity, enabling storage at 4 °C for several months and immediate clinical availability. Storage and transport in higher temperatures (40° C, for instance) is also a reality, due to its enhanced stability.

EVOCellic follows the regulatory pathway for Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMP) with an orphan drug designation by the EMA and is currently in preclinical development, expected to enter clinical trials by 2028.
